Wairarapa

The Fresh Air Project is a nationwide initiative led by the Cancer Society of New Zealand in partnership with local public health services.  The Fresh Air Project encourages hospitality businesses to become 100% smoke-free and vape-free outdoor dining venues. The Fresh Air Project was piloted in Christchurch and since then has experienced great success across other regions including Canterbury, Nelson, Whangarei, and Otago and Southland. Wairarapa region is now on board and we are excited to be part of this innovative smokefree initiative for New Zealand.

Feedback shows customers are enjoying Fresh Air dining and we will continue to spread the Fresh Air message across our region.

We look forward to welcoming more Wairarapa hospitality businesses that would like to come on board and make the change to Fresh Air dining.
